The Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA)/TVB Awards for Marketing Excellence scheme has conferred the “Distinguished Marketing Leadership Award” on FTLife Chief Marketing Officer Angela Yam in recognition of her exceptional achievement and contribution to the company’s rebranding project.
FTLife Asia CEO Lennard Yong said: “We are so glad Ms Yam has been singled out for the most coveted accolade in the Hong Kong marketing community. Under her leadership, our marketing team has gone from strength to strength – and the rebranding campaign could never have been so successful without her expertise and efforts.”
Angela Yam said: “This is such a great honour because it amounts to public recognition of the sterling work done by my colleagues. They are a credit to the wider FTLife team and richly deserve the unswerving support we get from the company’s senior management.”
She added: “My team and I will continue to adopt a customer-first mindset and enhance the FTLife brand at every opportunity, with the ultimate aim of delivering superior products and services to help our customers lead healthy and rewarding lives.”
The HKMA/TVB Awards for Marketing Excellence scheme was established in 1985 and is now widely regarded as the “Oscars” of the marketing industry in Hong Kong. It applauds individuals and organisations that have raised the standards of marketing in Hong Kong through remarkable programmes and meritorious efforts. A panel of judges comprises executives from many large companies who assess contenders against criteria that include ideas, objectives, strategy, originality, effectiveness and advantages.
Earlier this year, Ms Yam won the “Marketing Executive of the Year” Bronze Stevie® Award at the 14th Annual International Business Awards.
