Olympic gold medallist Hui Ruoqi is now champion of the flagship “Regent Insurance Plan 2” provided by FTLife Insurance Company Limited (“FTLife”).
The former captain of China’s national volleyball team led her squad to golden glory at the Rio 2016 Olympics in Brazil – the pinnacle of a glittering sports career.
Ms Hui retired in February this year at the age of 26 and now looks forward to university doctorate research into solving social problems through sports. She has also established a foundation to focus on development of volleyball for women.
FTLife Chief Marketing Officer Angela Yam said: “We are truly honoured Ms Hui now provides the human face of the Regent Insurance Plan 2. She is one of China’s most popular sporting stars and has been revered as Best Hitter and Most Valuable Player.”
She added: “Ms Hui’s outstanding performance and perseverance symbolises our sense of mission in insurance, which is to serve customers to the best of our ability with comprehensive protection and financial planning. The general public in Hong Kong and China are absolutely delighted to see Ms Hui appearing in her first advertising campaign following retirement.”
Eye-catching advertising will be seen throughout Hong Kong’s MTR stations and emblazoned across giant billboards all over town. Taglines highlight the essence of Regent’s first-in-market features and include “Turn predicted into guarantee” and “Pass on your wealth infinitely”.
FTLife’s innovative “automatic lock-in option” transforms expected returns into a guarantee. What’s more, unlimited change of the insured and protection until the new insured reaches the age of 128 is unique in the market and facilitates accumulation of significant wealth over a long period of time.
